On Monday 28 June, 5 mates set off on a 115-mile, 6 day walk from Timperley Sports Club to Moelfre Beach,

North East Anglesey. Why? Well, these 2 places were very special to a very special friend who we sadly lost last year, Pat Marston. 

Timperley Sports Club was Pat’s ‘2^nd  home’, a place where he played and umpired hockey, met friends for life and enjoyed many a beer. A commemorative bench for Pat now adorns the cricket outfield.

Anglesey was a favourite getaway for Pat and Moelfre Beach was where he used to enjoy fishing whilst away.
