Walking for Harry · 3 February 2004

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

In July and August this year I walked with my two teenage sons, Jack (17) and Robert (15), 200 miles around the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. We finished in Cardigan on 13 August 2004 after 19 days of walking. Our walk was dedicated to my third son, Harry (9) who is autistic, and was undertaken to raise funds and generate publicity for The National Autistic Society.

We have had a wonderful response to our appeal as you can see. I will be writing individually to all sponsors for whom I have contact addresses or emails. There are some names on this website however that I have no means of contacting. I hope they will accept this message as an adequate form of thanks for their great generosity in supporting this cause.

If anyone else would like to contribute, please do so. This web page will remain open until about 20 September.
