Many of you will know me as a beer swigging, pizza eating, cookie munching gamer and social smoker, so I am sure you will be surprised to know that in a matter of weeks, I will be trekking up three mountains, walking 24 miles in 12 hours!

My Father-in-Law Mike has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer and has been given a life expectancy of 3-5 years. Mike has always been a keen walker so it seemed fitting to take on this challenge in his honour.

Two of my close friends, brother and other chums will be joining me.
