Story

During the month of March 2021, myself, my husband (Andy) and my mum (Maralyn) will be walking the distance from Wadebridge to Bristol - 160 miles in total. Our progress will be tracked via Strava during the month and you can follow updates on this page.

The walking challenge is in memory of my wonderful dad, Peter Marsh, who passed away in March 2020. Sadly, due to lockdown restrictions it hasn't been possible to hold a memorial service so in Peter's memory we are walking to raise money for the Sunrise Centre (part of the Oncology Centre at Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro).

Peter received treatment at the centre over a few years and we would love to give something back to the unit in his memory.

The Centre opened in 2002, which was partially funded by charitable donations. Donations still help to maintain its state of the art status and facilities for patients. Any donations large or small would be very much appreciated.
