Story

We are having a walk to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support NI, in memory of our good friend Richard Witherspoon, who was a BMW Institute Technician at The Country Garage for 27 years. He was not only a work colleague, he was a great friend to many of us.  Richard sadly lost his battle with cancer in June 2018. The walk will be entitled “Walking for Richard” and it is being held on Saturday 29th June 2019 at 1.30pm from Broughshane Community Centre to the top of Slemish Mountain and back. We aim to get as many of his family, friends and colleagues to walk this challenge together as we fondly remember Richard and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support NI.
