Not sure how many know but my nana has dementia and it started to take a hold of her nearly 15 years ago. It has been a struggle to understand how it can take a hold of a life and will leave you with the memories made. I am doing this walk for all the families that this disease affects and hopefully be able to raise funds to help find more ways to detect and diagnose before its too late.
