We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Hi, I'm Rob, James's stepfather.

When James was diagnosed with leukaemia for the second time in June 2012 I decided that when he was recovering from his bone marrow transplant in 2013 I would do something to raise money for Leukaemia Research, to give something back to the many people who were trying to cure him. Very sadly James died from complications during the transplant procedure, but he wouldn't even have been given hope of a cure without the many years of research into this awful disease.

James was a keen walker and loved to spend time climbing a hill or walking by the sea or through the woods. So in September I am going to walk the length of Hadrian's Wall in his memory, and to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

I hope to complete the 84 mile walk over eight days. Your sponsorship will be very much appreciated - perhaps an amount per day, per mile, or just a single donation.
