Story

In memory of my wonderful husband, Stuart, my Beautiful Friend.

So many magnificent memories of this great man, who loved this beautiful Worcestershire countryside, have inspired me to walk this challenging pathway to celebrate the wonderful life that we shared together. Joining me will be Louise, Stuart's sister, so we can share the day 'Walking Tall' along the 31 mile pathway remembering this tall, gentle, caring man.

The walk is two days before the day that what would have been our 12th wedding anniversary, when I will be running 5k in the Race for Life (very generous donations have taken this to in excess of £4,700 - thank you). Both challenges Stuart would have enjoyed and I can hear his words of encouragement already.......

The loss of someone so special to a disease so dreadful will always feel unfair so raising money to support St Richard's Hospice so they can continue their excellent support for families affected by cancer, in Stuart's case Burkitt Lymphoma (non-Hodgkin Lymphoma), is something that I can do.

So thank you for visiting my sponsorship page. Please do not feel that you have to donate but if you want to then online it's quick, easy and totally secure.
