Challenge (Un)Limited-Trek the Great Wall of China · 20 April 2009

Since 1965 we've helped people find a life beyond homelessness & addiction. Embedded in East London, we provide places to stay, address the complex causes of addiction, run classes to help develop skills, confidence & build vital social connections and help people establish a lasting recovery.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Well, in a bout of unbridled (and unchecked) overenthusuastic optimism, I have signed up to trek The Great Wall of China. Like with the all the previous adventures (e.g. London to Paris 600km Weekend Cycle Ride 2005), I am now busily preparing myself for what should prove to be another excellent adventure. And the best bit? It's for a great cause!

As most of you know, since the tragic events in November 2008 unfolded, I have been recovering and helping out as an unpaid volunteer with a tireless, generous and spirited group of people at Spitalfields Crypt Trust. I have worked alongside these good, quietly determined people on the front line and witnessed what their kindness and patience can do for the less fortunate. It is an honor to be involved. And for this reason I have decided to raise money to support their efforts.

Even if it is a 1 Pound, 1 Euro or 1 Dollar, it will help immeasurably. So please sponsor me now! Spread the word.
