Walking to help fight Cancer
My name is Andrew Wakley and I am climbing 138 of the highest Welsh Mountains for two reasons – firstly in memory of my wife Wimke who died at home in Brecon on 9 April this year from metastatic breast cancer and secondly in appreciation of the wonderful medical and palliative care she received during her illness.
Raising money to support St David's Hospice Care
Wimke was at home with her family during her final days, which is what she wanted. St David’s Hospice Care provided nurses to come and look after Wimke during the nights so my family and I could get some sleep. They could not have been kinder and their support was invaluable.
Your donations to St David's Hospice Care - however large or small - will help them continue to offer their invaluable support to others.
