Lockdown DeJaVu.... Abingdon Riding for the Disabled has had to close again, with another month of costs to care for our 13 horses and no income from fundraising events and riding sessions. 

The charity desperately want to survive this pandemic and be able to be open again to provide our crucial therapy and disability sports sessions to our participants post lockdown. Each of my riders has huge personal challenges living and riding with their disability so I’ve set myself a challenge of my own (and my lucky old mum and aunt are taking part in the challenge too!) - to walk “to” the National Champs and back again during lockdown! The return distance between Abingdon RDA and Hartpury College (Nationals) is 110 miles, and with it being dark when I get back from work I don’t have very many days to get this done.... I’m also hoping not to get too lost as I adventure around my local area racking up the equivalent miles! 

Please support if you can to keep our charity alive, and please cross your fingers that my hips and knees don’t crumble in the process (if you know my track record you won’t be optimistic there!)
