For those of you who know our Granda or our family you will know that our Granda is currently fighting cancer.

In March 2011 he was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma, following plenty of investigations and fluid being drained off his lung. In the 6 months following he underwent his first lot of chemotherapy and we were thrilled to find out that following this there had been no change to the cancer. As the malignant mesothelioma cannot be treated this was the best we could hope for.

Granda is currently undergoing his second lot of chemotherapy and we again hope for the same 'no change' result this time.

This year Jack decided he would like to do a walk in commemoration of our Granda's beloved hobby which he had to give up recently. Therefore as a family we have asked our Granda to devise a walk and choose a charity and we will do the walk on his birthday, 4th of May.
