This year our Charity fundraising event will be taking place in December. Our Cubs and their families will be taking part in our Every K Counts Challenge to see how many KM they can complete between the 1st and 18th of December raising money for the Furness Homeless Support Group based in Barrow. They are a registered local charity, offering supported accommodation to single homeless people and have existed since 1989. Their current facilities include 9 single rooms of supported accommodation, a newly re-furbished 1 bed ground floor flat, a day centre (open Monday-Friday for drop in and midday meals), a Charity Shop and their Christmas Shelter!
