Insha Allah, WFMPA intend to take part again in the Al Noor Dragon Boat Race. Alhamdulillah, last year 17 brothers managed to come 6th and raised £1,096 for Nur Ul Islam. See the video for the final race.

This is an excellent activity for fathers and sons to take part in, there is no lower age limit but you have to be able to row. No experience is needed and we have a very experienced group leader from Nur Ul Islam.
There will be three races and a final where the fastest boat across the finishing line will win a cup.
We need 17 brothers to take part.
We feel it is important to take part to raise money for the Masjid Rebuild Project as for many years it has contributed to the community in many ways from organizing prayers, education and community activities for the family like the very popular scout groups.
We urge everyone to contribute as much as they can so that the masjid can reach its target Insha Allah.
Each rower has to raise a minimum of £100.
