Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are a greoup of 7 students who are volunteering to help destitute, disabled and orphaned children who are currently being cared for by the Thai Children's Trust. In June 2012 we will take this life changing trip halfway across the world to Pattaya [a region in Thailand] to help take care of the babies day to day care at the orphanage, teach English to the disabled students, and take the homeless and blind children out for the day while taking part in any community based projects that the charity have on at the time.
We plan to travel on 1 June 2012 and we are determined to raise all the money needed for this trip. We have had many successful events so far including a Bake Sale, Bucket Collection, bag packing at Waitrose and soon will be a Charity Dinner Dance evening.
We have approached several local business for sponsorship with some positive responses.
Our next fundraising event is a sponsored 25 mile bike ride on 2 April round Grafham Water. Wish us luck!
