Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Wednesday 12th June I, along with a crack commando of highly skilled Highways Maintenance Specialists, will be running the Walton-on-Thames branch of the Shooting Star Chase Charity Shop. This is a charity shop like no other, manned by a team like no other, doing all we can, Apprentice Style (trying not to get fired) to raise as much money as possible for this amazing organisation.

Shooting Star Chase are a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. The charity supports families across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

It costs £10 million a year just to maintain the current level of care and only 10% of that income comes from government funding, so they rely on supporters’ generosity to keep the service running.

You can help by coming to see us on the day and purchasing some truly eclectic ensembles, donating to our team page (here) or donating in advance any of your designer clobber you no longer use, the more luxury the better please!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
