Story
Hi, Will and Marcus here! Firstly, thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, any support you can give us would be great no matter how small! We will update this page as we go with the route and dates etc.
For now though, what we do know is that all the money raised will be going to the climate group (www.theclimategroup.org) who do amazing work for our planet trying to combat climate change. The ride will take place at the start of summer, late May or early June and we are looking at 5-7 days to complete the ride!
Thanks for your support!

A little bit about us....
Will-
Ive not been cycling very long at all, got my first road bike in september 2012 which was a massive heap of shit to be quite frank. I found it in a second hand bike shop in camden and spent way to much for it in the first place and then spent even more trying to keep the damn thing going! It was a short lived love affair filled with numerous cold, wet and very miserable evenings of me wheeling it home in my 'cycle gear' looking like a bit of a bellend.
So in November 2012 I picked up my new ride from a great little shop by embankment station and have been riding it day and night ever since, and except for a couple of punctures here and there it is yet to piss me off! We shall see how it fares on this big ride to edinburgh, but to date has taken me all around london and even as far as brighton...I have a feeling it will be my chubby little legs that give out long before the bike does!!!
Marcus-
So, I first starting riding road bikes after my mum crashed into my mountain bike and I bought a cracking little red and black Avanti. As time passed and the kilometers mounted, I was getting more and more into riding. I did it as much as I could until one day I joined a cycling club. Northern Sydney Cycling Club, we trained once a week and raced every two. I then bought a brand new full carbon fibre framed blue and black Avanti which has kept me on the roads for 7 years and somehow the love affair is still going strong. Unfortunately for my time at the cycling club I was slap bang in the middle of the ages. Everyone was either much older with kids or just kids themselves. So my flirt with bike racing had come to an end. I moved from Sydney to London in 2009 and had my bike shipped over. I did not ride it nearly as much as I should have but had the odd ride to Oxford or Portsmouth. However, for the last year, nearly, I have rode almost daily to work and uni. Nothing however will be as big as this ride to Edinburgh......except maybe Will's fat arse wobbling it's way up the hills, not that ill see it much because he's always lagging behind :P
