Story
For those of you that are around Norwich you have at one time or another probably seen me hobbling around like Yoda with my stick, so you can tell that mobility is a bit of a problem for me!
I injured my back while doing my beloved martial arts training two years ago, managing to receive nerve damage to my lower spine.
Having this injury has at times made me feel like I have deprived my children of some of the things that a dad "should" be doing, like running round a garden & playfighting etc.. But actually, when I sat back and thought, it made me realise that there are many more children even in the local community in much worse circumstances than my two.
This year, I am going to raise money to help children that are really disadvantaged, and I would really like your support by sponsoring me with whatever you can spare.
I am going to participate in the "Santa Run" on December 7th in Eaton Park in a wheelchair, dressed as a Santa version of Andy Pipkin from Little Britain.
(If anyone has a distinct likeness for Lou & wants to come along, please let me know!)
Please let anyone and everyone know about this, so we can try and reach our total.. This charity is really doing some some good work, and its happening in our local communities
Thanks everyone
Matt
