Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

On the 17th -19th September 2009, 10 slightly crazy yet extremely determined volunteers from Warburtons - the 'Warbies Wheelers' (It was better than the Hairy Biker Bakers!) will be taking on the immense challenge of cycling a massive 233 miles from London to Paris, in order to raise as much money as we can for our chosen charities.

This will be a mammoth challenge for us all - particularly those of us who until recently hadn't been on a bike for years! But we are training hard and are very excited at the prospect of raising some serious funds to help make a real difference to the lives of those benefitting from the work of our chosen charities...

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They are a source of support: providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support. They are a force for change: listening to people affected by cancer and working together for better cancer care. One in three of us will get cancer. Two million of us are living with it. We are all affected by cancer. We can all help.

Please dig deep and help us to make a real difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

A huge, heartfelt thank you from the Warbies Wheelers.
