Story

Lynn Tait died in June this year, from a rare form of blood cancer, Myeloma.

Lynn was a marvellous woman, who throughout her life helped so many people. She was the founder of the Ladder Club, which assisted so many start up greeting card publishers become established in the market, and in the course of her life, she also raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charitable causes.

Lynn was also a fanatical tennis enthusiast as a player, and latterly as a spectator. She loved the French 0pen and unfortunately passed away during it this year.

Warren Lomax and Bill Greeno, both fanatical tennis players themselves, are attempting to raise funds for Lynns cancer charity, Myeloma U.K., by breaking the time record of the longest ever French Open final, which was in 1982 between Willander and Vilas.

This match was four hours and forty two minutes of continuous tennis.

The match will take place on Wednesday November 15th between 7.00 and 12.00 a.m. at the Islington Tennis Centre in Market Road, N7. All spectators are welcome.
