Loch Lomond 24 mile swim · 3 August 2014

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The facts are that i'll be leaving either the most northerly (Ardlui) or southerly (Balloch) point of Loch Lomond at 5am on the 3rd August (weather dependant) to swim the full distance along with my partner in crime Big Chris "Shoulders" McGrenary.

The objective of the challenge is to both complete the 24 mile swim together (not relay!) before midnight (19 hours). We will have boat cover which will assist us with direction, safety, food, drink and banter - But that is all!

If you want to know more about the challenge or looking for some insight and reports on our training please visit my blog at warrenhawke.com

I am looking to raise money for a project delivered by the Greenock Morton Community Trust, the donation will be made centrally to the Charity but all monies will be spent funding Physical Literacy programmes in underprivileged areas of Inverclyde, these project will offer pre school children the chance to partake in early stage physical development programmes to enhance these children's opportunities in life.
