Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 29th of April, over the course of 5 days,  members of the WHW Warriors will be walking 92 miles from Milngavie to Pitlochry along the Rob Roy Way, raising money on behalf of The Moffat Mountain Rescue team.

Why ? Well on the 9th of May 2021, the rescue team were called to the Devils Beef Tub in Moffat to assist one of our warriors who had fallen and broken her ankle on the last of our local 3 peaks challenge.  The Mountain Rescue Team, Police Scotland and the Ambulance service all turned out in full force to stretcher our friend from the hillside and safely to Hospital.  We are taking this opportunity to say thanks to these invaluable people and hope that you can join us in donating whatever you can to help support this important lifesaving service.
