Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
What will I be doing?
I will be slipping into my joggers and running shoes to complete a half marathon on 29th June at Coombe Abbey.
Why am I running?
I will be fundraising for a charity called Warwick in Africa.
Warwick in Africa (WIA) helps support teachers and students in Ghana, Tanzania and South Africa.
I am fortunate enough to be part of a team of teachers and students travelling to Ghana this Summer. During our stay, we will be working with WIA to improve access to teacher training and learning resources at a range of Ghanian schools.
Grown out of a student volunteer project 8 years ago, WIA has benefited over 160,000 learners so far. Its fundamental aim is to enhance the education of young people in Africa, a direct route to liberation from poverty.
How can you help?
I am hoping to raise some pennies and pounds to help send future groups of teachers and students to Ghana, Tanzania and South Africa in support of WIA's mission.
Please help support this cause by donating on my page!
Thank you for your support!
