We fund biomedical research into ME to create a strategy for cure/treatment

Story

My original challenge was to do a long distance hike from the Wash to Weymouth, a distance of 300 miles to raise money for Invest in ME Research. The plan was to do the walk in May 2021 as an ME Awareness event. As soon as lockdown is over and the footpath conditions are suitable, I will do the original challenge.

But in the meantime.....

Since the original plan was born, we have had more lockdowns and camping limitations due to Covid. To keep my training up, I've been walking local roads and footpaths, building up my daily distance. Having already completed the full 300 miles locally, I needed something to keep me focused, hence the #Proclaimers500Challenge - I will walk 500 miles, and if the limitations continue, I will walk 500 more.

Below is an explanation of the aims of Invest in ME Research. Your donations to my #Proclaimers500Challenge and the eventual #Wash2WeymouthWalk will help them achieve those objectives. Thank you for your support.
