In memory of Mehboob, Assia, Raza Shah
The children in Kashmir and Pakistan are in dire need of even the most basic education. Less than 50% of primary school aged children actually return to school. This has to change if we want them to pull themselves out of poverty. So please help.

Story

Help me build a school for 300 vulnerable children at Hattian Bala, in the Muzaffarabad District, Kashmir.  This will be in honour of my beloved Mother, grandfather and uncle who are no longer with us in this duniya.

The cost of this school is £150,000, which will provide a safe and suitable learning environment for young children to learn and play. This will cover primary classes for boys and girls. Giving them a solid earthquake resistant building, with clean water facilities and the right tools, teachers and equipment to help them grow. The beauty of this project is that it will support so many future generations with a valuable route out of poverty. It actually starts here.

The children of Pakistan are in dire need of even the most basic education facilities. Only 25% of existing schools have any form of boundary wall and only 31% have access to drinking water. Add the fact that there are huge economic pressures on these young children due to their environment and the circumstances. We want to help them lift themselves out of poverty.

If anyone was big on charity it was my beloved mother, grandfather and uncle (May Allah grant them Jannah). No matter how big or small the gesture was they would always try and help a worthy cause.

My mum travelled to Pakistan in 2005. When Pakistan was hit with one of the biggest earthquakes, killing many, injuring more. She managed to raise almost 6k in a space of 4 weeks, took this cash directly to Muzaffrabad and donated it directly into the hands of those massively affected. Widows and children in particular. She promised the children in the village that she would bring back sweets for them in the near future and if she wasn’t able to she will be sure to send someone on her behalf..subhanallah!  She always had the intention of going back there to continue her work and help those who were still getting back on their feet. Unfortunately she never got that chance which is why I am doing what I can in my capacity and with Allah’s blessings inshallah to continue on with her legacy. Along the way I felt it was more than appropriate to include my grandfather and uncle in this too. Alhamdulillah for everything!

Please share and donate generously.  May this be a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for my 3 dearly beloved family members and an entry to Jannatul Firdaus for them inshallah, ameen.
