During the last term of school my 5 year old daughter Aariya has been learning about super heroes and has now come up with the concept of her very own super hero ‘Water Girl’.

She was inspired by watching the water aid advertisement on television and thought there should be a new super hero that would  be known as ‘Water Girl’. She told me that Water Girl has special water cleaning powers that could clean the dirty water in the world so that all children have access to clean water.

I was so impressed with this concept that she had thought of, that I encouraged her to write her very own story.  Both Nveen and I are completely blown away by her work and hope that her story will help to raise additional funding for this great cause.

After writing her book Aariya told us  that not everyone can become Wonder Woman or Batman but everyone can raise money and give all children clean water and be a real life super hero. Water Girl has resonated with our family so much that we just had to set up a just giving page to allow everybody the chance to become a super hero.
