We are Team Albagua from Scottish Water.

We are taking on the Water Innovators challenge and want to raise over £10,000 to support Water Aid's contribution towards Sustainable Development Goal 6 -  Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

We are learning a lot through organising our team and activity across the whole of scotland, organising events and taking on the innovation challenge to design a hygiene app.

We are pleased to be supporting Water Aid's work in Nicaragua where more than 200 children die each year from diarrohea  caused by unsafe water, a lack of toilets and poor hygiene. Also there are currently 800,000 Nicaraguans, approximately double the population of Edinburgh, lack access to safe drinking water.
