Welcome to the Blazing Paddles team fund raising page for Henley Canoe 125 Challenge.

This is the final year of the Wates and TCV Corporate Charity Partnership and to celebrate Wates' 125 year Anniversary we are embarking on a fantastic Canoe challenge on the River Thames including the legendary Henley Regatta course. 

A brave team of Wates employees (Christina Byrne, James Dickson, Tessa Shelley, Jack Keogh, Ben Williams, Melissa Woodall, Nat Hall, Richard Mardle, Tony Hart and Hayley Clifford) have taken on the challenge of paddling a dragon boat against 6 other teams 10 miles from Reading Rowing Club to Henley Rugby Club on the Thames.

We have done absolutely no training and will no doubt need physio afterwards! 

Money raised with support TCV to continue their important work supporting local communities’ health and wellbeing.
