Throughout September we will be raising money for The Salvation Army’s work not just in Watford, but across the UK and Ireland.

Every penny donated directly enables our social and community programmes. Nationally, this includes: 
• Supporting men, women and families who are experiencing homelessness.
•Running care homes and day centres for older people.
• Reuniting families through our Family Tracing Service.
• Offering training and advice to people looking for sustained employment.
• Providing a place of safety for adult victims of modern slavery.

Locally, we also:
• Support vulnerable children and struggling families who are experiencing holiday hunger.
• Offer starter-packs to families moving home due to a crisis.
• Distribute gifts to children who would otherwise not receive Christmas presents.
• Run a community allotment visited by 120+ children per week.

In previous years, we would collect door-to-door or in supermarkets. But this year we are doing totally DIGITAL!!!

You can also raise money for us by completing a challenge yourself. Use your imagination - from hosting an online quiz to climbing your stairs 50 times. No one is too old or too young to join in. Message us with your ideas and we will be delighted to support you.
