Story
Thanks for visiting our charity page for the Watling annual practice run! Having successfully raised funds for Medecins Sans Frontieres, the good neighbour scheme and our local psychiatry unit in previous years, this year as a local GP practice, we have chosen to support our local hospice.
We see the impact of cancer, end stage heart and breathing illnesses on our patients and their families. North London Hospice is a local charity that is committed to providing the highest quality palliative and end of life care and support for patients and families living with a life limiting illness. With this in mind, we are taking part in the race for life running events this year to help fundraise for them.
Event details : Regents Park Cancer Research Race for life 10K and 5K on Saturday 18th May.
Several practice staff have been training over the last few months with the united aim of fundraising for our local hospice. We currently have over 20 Watling staff and their family members signed up for the event!! These include our:
Participants:
Reception team ( Hema, Parul and Lynn); Secretaries (Avril, Olivia); Nurses (Paula ); Doctors (Dr Kahn, Dr Moore, Dr A Patel, Dr E Patel, Dr A Shah, Dr M Shah, Dr Saldanha); Practice Manager (Sanja)
In addition, several family members of Watling Staff from children to other halves will be also be doing the 5 or 10K run too!
Thank you for your support in this campaign to help our patients and local community
Yours Sincerely
