Miles 4 Smiles · 1 November 2020

Promoting mental wellbeing, overcoming lockdown isolation and loneliness by getting out and enjoying the Green Lungs of the community, working together cohesively and compassionately to raise much-needed funds for our local environmental charity.

Story

Mum, Jason and I (along with Myles) are pledging to walk to support our Meadows this November. Please sponsor us and help us to protect The Meadows.

Jason is going to tackle the 120 miles, mum is doing the 90 and I am aiming for the 60 with Myles tagging along. So lots and lots of walking in our house for the next month! We really could do with your support, with COVID restrictions charities are struggling more than ever and we really need to protect our green spaces for future generations.

2020 has been a strange year for all of us. Who could have imagined that phrases like lockdown, social distancing and remember your face mask would enter our day to day vocabulary. Many of us have been left feeling isolated and alone, and we know it has been a trying time for many of us. With the colder months on their way, for many, it may get worse before it gets better. Please sponsor me to raise funds to support Hollingbourne Meadows Trust.
