Fundraising for Dogs Trust
Story
The Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge (TWAC) will see me row single-handedly from San Sebastian in the Canary Islands to English Harbour in Antigua. The 3000+ miles could take up to 70 days and see me face the ever changing conditions of the Atlantic Ocean; from scorching equatorial heat to wild and violent storms, generating waves upwards of 20 feet.
Including the unavoidable fatigue, likely hallucinations and the tremendous mental challenges of being alone for such a long time, this will be the biggest challenge of my life.
The drive behind the row has always been a personal one, but such a crazy challenge provides a unique platform to raise money for a great cause. The Dogs Trust do some amazing work, rehoming and caring for more than 16,000 dogs every year.
