So... me and my mate Mark decided to book a long cycling holiday around the Scottish highlands in July of this year. This is going to take 12 days to do, doing between 45 and 70 miles per day. Now that the training has started and the legs get used to the hills and miles, I thought lets raise a bit of cash for a local charity. Being a Barnsley fan the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was an easy choice. We have all seen the great work they do and the costs to keep it going.

If I can get close to the target I have set, the long days on the saddle will make it all the more satisfying when we reach the next destination on a night (and hopefully a pub)
