This we feel as a family, is something we must continue for Our Son - Ashley Wayne Clarkson.

Suffering with PTSD, and feeling the Army had let him down and other ex-service men/women, it all came to much for Ash when on the 10th March 2012 he took his own life ( writing this now brings tears to my eyes). Ash was just 23 years of age - Still so much to live for yet his pain was so great he felt he couldn't continue anymore.

Ash was the eldest Brother of a large extended family, and his siblings as we Both Sets of Parents miss him more each day, but hope as time goes by we are able to move forward by Celebrating his life by raising funds for the People like The Royal British Legion who helped Ashley after he left the Army, and in the hope that any monies raised will stop in some way or foam any other Solider suffering with PTSD will get the help they need...

We the Family's must act now, as losing a Child is heartbraking, but for a Child to take there own life is a grief and pain we would wish on No one...
