Story
Folks June/July 2019 sees me attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania which is the highest free-standing volcano in the world and the tallest mountain in Africa - at an altitude of 5,895 meters, the 'Rooftop of Africa'. I wasn’t going to reach out for any kind of charity funding, but I can’t miss the opportunity to raise much needed funds for what is such an incredibly important charity Myton Hospices.
This is a self-funded trip where I’m covering the full cost of the expedition and any money we might raise goes to the charity. I know we all get asked for money in support of good causes on a regular basis, but should you feel you want to give something however little this would be much appreciated by the patients that benefit from the work of Myton Hospices.
Many thanks

Myton Hospices story
At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year we supported more than 1,800 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
