Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2015 my Wife Clare was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neurona. This is a rare type of Brain Tumour and although not miligant it has changed Clare's life, and thousands of other people  aswell who suffer from this. Clare underwent a fourteen hour operation in January 2016 in Sheffield  and has had numerous appointments since and will continue to do so to monitor her case.

I have seen first hand the effects this has had and and I am very proud to be Clare's husband and I am very proud of how brave she has been.

I enjoy running and have taken part in a few Half Marathons including the last two Great North Runs. I am very grateful to be given a place in the 2018 London Marathon and support Brain Tumour Research , please please support this great cause and as Tesco say..... every little helps!

Let's help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
