On the 8 of Sept I am going to do the Middlesbrough 10k Run. For those of you who know me, you will realise that this is quite a challenge for me, as I am not the fittest man on planet, but I am doing this for a cause that is very important to me.

I am taking part to raise money in memory of my sister in law Carol Gerighty who died last year from motor neurone disease. Carol was naturally sporty and I am not, she would have laughed her socks off at the thought of me running 10km and that’s how I want to remember her.

The whole family are taking part in a year for fundraising events with the goal of raising £10k to donate to research into MND.  So please sponsor me anything you can.
