When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Why am i doing this??? May of 2007 my mum had a stroke at the age of 48. This has affected her memory. It hit my family hard as she is the heartbeat of it, as most mums are. So i have decided to give something back to the charity that has helped both my mum and my family. What better way than to raise some money and test my body physically............ Run the 2008 London Flora Marathon!!

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
