Leamington to London Bike Ride

In the last week of the Summer term the Leamington team will embark on a test of endurance, patience, and, in some cases, balance(!), as we take up the challenge to cycle 105 miles along canal tow paths from Leamington to another Crossteach centre in NW London.
This sponsored event was conceived over a year ago (it seemed like a good idea at the time) in a bid to raise money towards a new worker joining the Leamington and Warwick team.
For our National Director, Rob, it poses a particular challenge as he is a non-cyclist, who before this event had never owned a bike possessing gears nor cycled on the road! It will be one of the final things Rob does as a Crossteach worker before leaving for Ordination training and he is expecting it will leave him with a sense of satisfaction, large sores and hopefully a considerable sum of money to ensure the local work can develop further.
Thank you very much for your ongoing support and interest in our work.
