Super Ted's Miles - Candlelighters Children's charity

Candlelighter's children's charity have provided invaluable support to the family of our neighbours Andrew and Amanda, and to countless other families going through difficult journeys like theirs.

Baby Ted was diagnosed with a tumor at 7 months old. He has gone through 4 cycles of chemotherapy and a major operation to remove as much of the tumor as possible. He was in intensive care and now is recovering and awaiting scans which will determine the next course of treatment.

His family say he is fighting this with a steely toughness and they are remaining positive.

Fundraising for this special charity has prompted them to set up Super Ted's Miles and other groups are also raising money for the cause under this banner.

We are just 2 'oldies' in our 50's who are pushing ourselves to bike across the country and back again covering 340 miles in 3 days in a couple of weeks time.

This is nothing compared to what Ted and his family, and lots of other families, are going through right now. Your support means everything. Thank you.
