The Way of the Roses - Cross Country Charity Bike Ride John · 8 May 2020 ·

We treat babies born without an immune system who left untreated would all die by their first birthday, and older children with other immunodeficiencies who would die by early adulthood.

Story

We are biking cross country, coast to coast, from Morecambe across to Bridlington (160 miles), along the well known cycle route ‘The Way of the Roses’. We will be doing it over 2 days, staying overnight somewhere along the route. We will be raising money for the excellent Bubble Foundation who save the lives of babes born with no immune system by providing research, toys, equipment and accommodation for families. And also the Queens Center for Oncology & Haematology at Castle Hill Hospital in Hull, who give the best care to those suffering from Cancer, provide palliative care for those with terminal illnesses, and support family members through the grieving and bereavement process. (All cash money raised on sponsorship forms will be given in cheque form to the Queens Centre - as Just Giving are unable to split direct payments on a web page).
