Team members of the Colorectal MDT that look after bowel cancer patients at Worcestershire Acute Hospital running the Worcester City 10km/half marathon. 

The money will go towards the ongoing support of our bowel cancer patients, the running of our bowel cancer support groups and the equipment we need to do this. 

We would also like to raise some money to fund some equipment to help support patients post operatively such as recliner chairs and support cushions. 

Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer.

Nearly 43,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in the UK.

Around 268,000 people living in the UK today have been diagnosed with bowel cancer.
