In June of this year, Will Vine, from our Sidmouth office, and his wife received the news that no parent ever wants to hear, that their youngest daughter Lily (3) was diagnosed with cancer. Lily is bravely fighting her illness, though it’s a long and difficult road ahead. Throughout their journey Lily and family have had the support of the CLIC Sargent charity. CLIC Sargent fund nurses and social workers, and have provided care for Lily both in hospital and at home. They have liaised with Lily’s pre-school to ensure she can experience a bit of normality. They also provide accommodation for families close to hospital. This has allowed both Will and his wife to be with Lily while she receives chemo (which she receives every other week).

CLIC Sargent need our support to help fund such vital services to those needing it. 

The aim is to raise enough money (£2,734) to pay for a day at all 10 of CLIC Sargent Homes from Home, keeping, families together.
