Over the last few years, I have battled with the hidden mental illness that is depression. With several breakdowns and time spent on mental health wards, exacerbated by the total loss of sight in my right eye, I have lost confidence, self belief and, at times, hope.

Conwy Young Carers have given my family an amazing amount of support and assistance throughout this period of time. Olivia and Tom have always been supportive and positive, but it has been tough. Young Carers gives them the opportunity to escape and to have some fun! From trips to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, to Outdoor Pursuits in the Lake District and Rib-riding on the Menai Straits!

Riding the longest and fastest zip wire in Europe enables me to repay their support, through your kindness and sponsorship, raising much needed and vital funds.
