London to Cambridge Bike Ride · 25 July 2010

The Lister Area Kidney Patients Association - LAKPA (formerly LKF) was established in 1992 for support and welfare of kidney patients in the 5 renal units under control of the Lister Hospital in Stevenage. ie Bedford, Harlow, Luton & Dunstable, St. Albans and of course the Lister.

Story

On Sunday 25th July members of staff at the WDC Hitchin office will be taking part in a 57 mile bike ride starting in London and making our way across the Cambridgeshire countryside and finishing at Midsummer Common in the heart of Cambridge.

Many of us are not regular cyclists (in fact some have not been on a bike in years!) so 57 miles is going to be a big, and definitely painful, challenge.....but hopefully a fun one too!!!

The Lister Kidney Foundation is a deserving charity run by volunteers to help improve the well-being of kidney patients and their families attending the Lister Hospitals (Stevenage, St.Albans, Luton & Dunstable). We would really appreciate any donations that you are able to make and any support that you can give us!

Thank you.
