Story

Hi there from Team: FIJI LUNA 4 !

We are Evangeline, Elita, Alicia and Almira, all good friends at Thomas's Battersea school.

We decided to band together to raise money for a very good cause by competing in the Flight Centre Schools Triathlon, taking place on Sunday 8th May at Charterhouse School.

We are raising money for an amazing charity called Restless Development, which helps disadvantaged young people around the world to become leaders and thereby help their communities.

Restless Development organizes volunteer placements for young people in the areas of civic participation, livelihoods and employment, sexual rights, and leadership. It operates in 74 countries in Africa and Asia, as well as the United States and UK.

THE CHARITY'S IMPACT:

The young people Restless Development trains create lasting change around the world. They share their skills and knowledge with other young people and their communities, which helps multiply the impact the charity is able to achieve.

---> 92% of young people they trained in business skills in Tanzania found employment.

---> 81% of pupils in 200 schools in Nepal took action to stop gender-based violence.

---> 85% of women they trained in Sierra Leone joined a sustainable savings group.

We would be so grateful if you sponsored us for our triathlon to help us get our sweat on and make everyone proud! Go Fiji Luna 4!
