Story
While many of us are fortunate to have a stable home environment, tragically too many young people in the UK do not. That's why Marmalade are proud to be partnered with Centrepoint, a brilliant charity dedicated to improving the lives of young homeless people.
Last year their helpline saw an increase of over 50% in calls from young people in crisis, and a shocking consequence of the pandemic was a £2 million shortfall in fundraising income due to canceled events - so they need more funding than ever to keep their services open - their goal is to end youth homelessness for the next generation - by 2037.
Help us to make a difference to vulnerable young people by donating today. By just giving a few pounds you could make a big difference in helping a young homeless person build a future.
Some examples of how powerful your donation could be:
£5 could help buy travel for a homeless young person to get to their college or place of work
£10-15 could help a student buy university textbooks, sponsor a room and give them help with homewares
£25 could help provide a safe room and help teach essential life skills to help them live independently
£100 could help provide a young person with a room and counselling to help them move on from trauma, pay for a travelcard to get to college, or help them obtain a certificate to work in construction.
£250 could help a young person complete their CBT to obtain a motorcycle licence to become a delivery driver
£450+ could help young people to train for a trade or buy equipment to support them in their studies
