Isle of Wight Challenge 2021 · 10 July 2021 to 11 July 2021 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

This coming May, Daryn, James and Will are undertaking the Isle of Wight Challenge. This is a gruelling 106km continues walk around the island, which we aim to do in 24 hours.

For anyone that knows us you will be well aware of how bad our knees are, hence the team name... Hopefully James won't need another knee operation after this.

We would really appreciate any donations towards this endeavor! Anything you can spare will help a really great cause. All of us have had someone in our family that suffered from Alzheimer's so would be incredibly grateful any support you can give to this amazing charity that does so much for both those suffering from the disease and their families.

As an additional incentive, James, Will and I will don a tutu for the entirety of the walk if the £800 target is reached.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
