We share the vision of an end to the pain & suffering of eating disorders

Story

On Saturday the 14th of April Ipswich parkrun will be asking regular runners and new participants to wear pink to raise awareness of This Girl Can in Suffolk and Beat, the UK's eating disorder charity.

This event is being supported by This Girl Can Suffolk Ambassadors who will be taking over the operational roles of parkrun for the day, with support from the core team. We hope that this event will encourage new female participants to take up running and raise awareness of the 1.25 million people in the UK who have an eating disorder.

We all run for our own enjoyment. People come along and join in whatever your pace. If you are new to parkrun please don't forget to register and bring a printed copy of your barcode - https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/

We look forward to seeing you there!
