The Cedar House Support Group is a charity helping mothers experiencing postnatal depression. We provide a supportive environment for women to discuss their feelings. This aids recovery by normalising feelings and reducing the isolation that PND can bring. We operate in both Surrey and London.

Story

I have been training hard for the last six months and will be running on the day for The Cedar House Support Group, a charity supporting mums and families experiencing Postnatal Depression (PND).  This is a cause close to my heart having suffered from this illness after the birth of both my children.  During both experiences I went from a confident bubbly person to someone unable to function properly. If only I had known about this charity then.  PND can be a terrifying illness with symptoms ranging from a feeling of hopelessness with mild to severe anxiety. Nearly 20% of mothers suffer from this illness and it can have tragic consequences for all of the family.  However, it is through these experiences that I have been helping others and fighting for more women to get the support they need in the form of the Cedar House Support Group.  To help this small charity expand and keep helping women and their families, I would appreciate a donation, however small, I promise it will make a difference.  Thank you so much fo your help. Love Louise (Weazel)
